Acceptable Use Policy

By using Hachimi you agree to follow this Acceptable Use Policy. We keep it short and concrete: agents do real work on real systems, and we’d like to keep the platform a safe place. If you’re unsure whether a use case is okay, email hi@hachimi.io and ask.
1. You may not use Hachimi to
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Generate or distribute content that sexually exploits minors, encourages self-harm, or constitutes harassment / hate speech against a protected class.
- Impersonate a person or organization in a way intended to deceive (parody and fiction are fine; fraud isn’t).
- Run mass unsolicited messaging, spam, phishing, or credential-harvesting campaigns.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Hachimi platform without prior written permission. (See /security for our responsible disclosure process.)
- Build a product whose primary value is reselling Hachimi compute or scraping our outputs to train a competing model.
- Use connected third-party services in violation of their terms of service.
2. Things to be careful with
- Sensitive data. Don’t paste credentials, API keys, or production database passwords into chat. Use the Connectors panel for OAuth-based access. For other secrets, store them in your own vault and have the agent read them at run time.
- High-stakes actions. Agents can send email, post messages, and write to APIs. Decide explicitly which agents are authorized for which actions; default to draft-mode (e.g., create draft instead of send) when in doubt.
- Browser automation. Use it for your own accounts and accounts you have permission to access. Don’t scrape behind logins you’re not authorized for.
3. Enforcement
We’ll usually start with a heads-up email if we see something concerning. Repeat or severe violations result in account suspension and, in the worst case, termination + data deletion. We may also be required to report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
4. Reporting abuse
If a Hachimi agent is being used against you (spam, harassment, etc.), email abuse@hachimi.io with the message content + headers. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes get announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
